Filmmaking is becoming more and more an art that can be practiced with increasingly smaller budgets, in large part thanks to free software made available by people who are enthusiastic about film and about telling stories. I am always on the lookout for free filmmaking software that can help the filmmaker who is not backed by a studio make a vision into reality. Whether it's editing software or free screenwriting software, I hope to have a growing collection of resources for film students and filmmakers everywhere.
